The refurbished South Australian Government building, located in the picturesque Port Adelaide, heavily features Troldtekt Wood Wool panels as supplied by CSR Himmel. Troldtekt panels were installed in Black, White and natural finishes offering a dynamic and unique ceiling feature in this Government office building.

Port Adelaide is located North West of the South Australian capital city of Adelaide. Formally heavy industrial area with a rich history as an industrial harbour, the South Australian Government is recreating a vibrant and contemporary urban area. The Port Adelaide Offices, located along the waterfront and next to the iconic Birkenhead Bridge, will fast become a catalyst for this urban regeneration,

Using this ideology, the architectural firm Walter Brooke & Associates has maintained an industrial presence in the SA government office design. Along with this feel they have installed Troldtekt acoustic panels to integrate a natural rustic warmth to compliment Port’s historical timber use. The contemporary aesthetics were not the only consideration for this modern government building.

Along with the performance and aesthetics of the direct fixed Troldtekt panels was a purposely made Bradford Insulation panel. This achieved the high acoustic demands required from a modern office building, combining quiet open plan areas and discreet private offices.
